We charge hourly at the time of service and large jobs are done on a contract basis. Dream House would be happy to perform any of the following services for you:
DESIGN CONSULTATION
Choosing the right scale, fabrics, style and placement of furniture can be overwhelming. Our designers can help you with all these tough decisions along with accessorizing, wall color and treatment choice, and the overall plan of the room. Design consultation can consist of as little as an hour, or through the whole process from design conception to installation and accessorizing. Design services are available for both residential and commercial clients. COLOR CONSULTATION
A visit to your home by one of our designers to help pick paint colors for one room, or your entire house. If you have ever painted a room the wrong color, you know there is definitely a skill to color selection. In addition, we also can suggest different wall treatments, such as glazing or wallpaper, to create a truly unique room.
ROOM REARRANGEMENT
Let us take your tired and uninspired room and give it a quick “facelift”. You’ve seen this done on television, so you know how dramatic it can be. Our designers have the special talent to know how to improve flow, coordinate colors and textures and showcase your treasures to create a new and fresh living space! Charges for this service are hourly.
SEASONAL DECORATING
Want a custom wreath for your door or a very special mantle for the holidays? How about a whole Christmas tree? Need your office windows done in a festive manner? Dream House can take the stress off the season and let you enjoy the holidays. Done for an hourly fee plus the cost of the materials we supply. We are famous for our Christmas trees!
WINDOW TREATMENTS
Windows are a huge part of our business right now—it seems to be getting harder to find sources for custom made treatments. We have an extensive fabric and trim library and a large design room to work on projects. Our services include measuring, designing, fabric, trim and hardware selection, fabrication and installation. We currently carry 14 fabric lines with the ability to access many more through design centers. Our designers are experienced in window treatment design, construction and installation—a talent you can’t fake. Additionally, experience allows us to create the more unusual and elaborate designs seen in high end shelter magazines. Bring in a picture and we can create it. With your treatment you are provided a scale drawing to assure the style is one you will enjoy for years to come, before it is sewn.
